Food on Foot made me realize I am a lot more fortunate than most people. Once I gained that knowledge it was important for me to help those that are less fortunate. After one visitation to a feeding Food on Foot leaves you with a sense of pride, a feeling of accomplishment, like you made a difference in someone's life. How many times in your lifetime can you actually say you made a difference? Well, today I did. As a matter of fact, I might have made a difference in 184 peoples lives. I actually have what I believe is a humorous experience gained from the feeding. Along with providing food for the homeless , Food on Foot also tries to cloth them as well. At one of the feedings, I donated 3 suits that I use to wear to work. (I had actually lost 30 pounds and those suits did not fit) At the feeding many of the homeless will pick out clothes they need. Several days passed, when I noticed about 5 blocks from my home, standing at the corner, this homeless man who I have seen for years in my neighborhood, wearing one of my 3 piece suits.. If that wasn’t one of the strangest and funniest scenes I have seen.
