Volunteers of the Week

John F. Kennedy Jr. used to quote from the bible "To Whom Much Has Been Given, Much Will Be Expected." (Luke 12:48) And while I am certainly not in the financial stratosphere of a Kennedy, I feel that I too have been blessed with a life that cannot be taken for granted. I know full well that There But For the Grace of God Go I. So I am grateful to the wonderful organization, FOF, for helping to make it very, very easy to....in some small way....be able to give to others.

My first experience with FOF was on Christmas Day, 2003. Despite the torrential rains, and maybe partly because of them, the feelings of love and camaraderie that afternoon were palpable. This event left a large indentation on my heart, which is why I will continue to volunteer whenever possible.
